Shambhala Farm

Shambhala Farm is a 10 acre organic vegetable farm nestled in the Noosa Valley. It is a family farm managed under the loving guidance of partners Jemma Edwards and Craig Hubbard.
Both Craig and Jem studied to become yoga teachers which is still the core inspiration and practice at Shambhala Farm. Both are passionate about organics and growing good healthy food and seeking out other growers with similar mindset.
This has led them to create what the farm is today – a wonderful community living on the farm via an internship program and a growing member base of locals who want good food direct from the farm.
The Farm also We operates a commercial kitchen/bakery which produces all sorts of organic delights including banana bread and granola.
“Our main service is the growing of organic leafy salad greens. We believe leafy greens are the missing link in the western daily eating habit and we love to inspire people to eat more greens with salads and delicious green smoothies.
“We grow up to 50 different leafy greens and vegetable varieties in our spring/summer growing season including: four types of Kale, five types of lettuce, spinach, silverbeet, rainbow chard, rocket, 10 culinary herbs, five types of Asian greens and many other seasonal vegetables. We run a farmbox home delivery service in the local Noosa area and fill our boxes with both our organic greens and fruit and vegetables sourced from our local growers network.”
There is a selection of fresh organic and local FarmBoxes available, delivered to your door! Boxes are great way to buy, as they are filled with fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables direct from the Farm and other local farms.
Eating seasonally and locally makes sense from a health and a sustainability perspective and often can save you money at the same time. The Farm’s organic greens are more often better value than the chemically grown options in the supermarkets purely because there is zero shipping and storage costs.
